UPCOMING EVENTS:

COLLEGE GOAL ALASKA -
Thursdays, February 5th, March 5th and April 23rd

A short presentation on the 2015/2016 FAFSA followed by Q&A session and one on one assistance completing your FAFSA. Hosted by Corrisa Heyes w/ACPE and Robyn Gallacher w/Kodiak College.

When: 4-6pm

Where: Kodiak College Campus Center Room 127

Open to the community! Bring your SSN#, 2014 income estimates, current bank account and asset information (and your folks info if you are a dependent student). There's no need to have your taxes filed first - use 2013 tax return or 2014 income estimates from paystubs, W-2's, 1099's, etc.

Credit Union 1 Bill Countryman Scholarship - Due April 1, 2015, applications available January 1, 2015.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Kodiak Chapter - Due April 3, 2015. Open to female students continuing their education.

Stuart Lutton Scholarship - Due April 17, 2015

Pioneer Scholarship - Due April 30, 2015

KMXT/KODK Kodiak Public Broadcasting Scholarships - Due May 1, 2015

Kodiak College Tuition Award Application (Fall 2015) - Due August 5, 2015 Students must be registered for Fall classes prior to submitting application.

Kodiak College Foundation Scholarships (apply through UAOnline) - Due August 5, 2015

The following opportunities are for Graduating High School Seniors/First Time Freshman students only (for academic year 2015/2016):

KoC JumpStart Program for First Time Freshman - Attend New Student Orientation August 19, 2015 at 6pm at Kodiak College in addition to completing other program requirements.

Walmart Associate Scholarships - March 3, 2015, June 2, 2015 and September 3, 2015

Walmart Dependent Scholarships - Due March 14, 2015

Arctic Physical Therapy "Women in the Sciences" Scholarship - Due March 20, 2015. Application period opens February 28th.

KEA Graduating High School Senior Scholarships - Due February 20, 2015 .

UAScholars Program - Designated scholars must apply to a degree or certificate program at any University of Alaska campus by May 1, 2015.

Alaska Performance Scholarship - FAFSA must be submitted by June 30, 2015 and you must list at least one federal school code for a college or university in Alaska on your FAFSA

The Learning Center - Writing tutors are available to review your essays and offer assistance. Services are open to the community on a walk-in basis during the Fall & Spring semesters. Please contact Student Services at 907.486.1214 if you need assistance during the summer.

LIVE Homework Help - Upload your essay for review by an online tutor. Free and open until 2am every day.

UAA Cost of Attendance / Budget Request Form - If your scholarship application requires budget information from the UAA Office of Financial Aid, submit this completed form to Student Services.
