Introduction to Justice will be offered on-campus for summer term 2013 at Kodiak College.  This course, taught by Assistant Professor Alan Fugleberg, will survey the philosophies, functions and methods of social control with emphasis on role of law and those involved in its administration -police, courts, and corrections organizations.  This three credit course includes a study of the history, organization, processes, and problems related to law and justice agencies in a democratic society.  This course is a social science GER and is a prerequisite to most justice courses.  It will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 – 5:15 p.m. from May 21 – August 1.
