Q8. What about books? I plan to use my refund to purchase books and I need them at the beginning of the semester.

If you have completed all of the requirements to be eligible for disbursement of your financial aid for a given semester, you may be permitted to charge your books against your anticipated financial aid refund at the Kodiak College Bookstore.  If you are still working on your requirements and do not have a way to pay for your books please contact Robyn in Student Services at 486-1214 or regallacher@kodiak.alaska.edu to discuss available options.  Keep in mind that you cannot order books for online classes and charge them to your financial aid – the option applies only to books available in our campus bookstore.
