This AAS Degree program prepares students for career entry or career advancement in a variety of office settings and also offers skill building for personal use. It provides students with the technical, administrative, and human relations skills required of office professionals. Both the Office Foundations and the Office Support OECs articulate directly into this degree.
OUTCOMES:
Upon completion of this program, students will demonstrate:
Keyboarding skills of 40 net words per minute minimum.
Intermediate skills that utilize advanced features of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Oral and written communications skills that meet business standards.
Application of critical thinking skills to make effective decisions and solve problems.
Professional behavior and interpersonal skills.
