Kodiak College is partnering with communities all around the island to provide educational opportunities and outreach for Kodiak Island's citizens who live outside the city of Kodiak.

The "Adopt a Faculty" program was designed to allow those without physical access to the campus to have their own faculty representative to ensure that voices are heard.

As part of this program, many faculty members have visited their "adopted" communities to align themselves with the needs of each community.
