Academic Advising
An academic advisor can assist students as they decide on an educational goal, choose courses for the upcoming semester, and make a degree plan. Advisors can also educate students about academic policies and procedures.
Academic advising is available for Kodiak College students and prospective students. Students are encouraged to call Barbara Brown, Academic Counselor at (907) 486-1211 to make an appointment.
Financial Aid
Kodiak College offers financial aid and scholarship application educational presentations during each semester. At these information sessions, students will learn about how to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and how to compile a winning scholarship application.
For more information about financial aid (including scholarships, loans, and grants) or veteran’s services, call Sue Thompson, Financial Aid Clerk at (907) 486-1214 or email at sthompson@kodiak.alaska.edu.
