The Adult Basic Education Program (ABE) at Kodiak College provides free tutoring and classes for adults who need to learn or refresh basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, who want to earn a GED, or who are studying English as a Second Language (ESL).

Basic Skills and General Education Development (GED)

Assessments
Individual Tutoring
Books, CDs, online study programs
Short courses (check with the lab for schedules)
Test preparation and official GED practice tests
Study at your own pace, at home, or in our lab.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Classes for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students
Individual tutoring in reading, writing, speaking and grammar
CDs, Cassettes, Computer, and online study programs
Materials available for check-out

The Adult Education Program is funded by a grant from the State Dept. of Labor and supported by Kodiak College.
